We have launched the application Save the crucian carp, created by the ARGO22 team. You can now report the presence of the crucian carp (or gibel carp) directly in the field via the app. It offers an easy way for anglers and those interested in the crucian carp conservation to save their reports and share them, thereby contributing to citizen science to save our native fish. We are particularly interested in the location and, if possible, photos of the fish.
The app also automatically counts all reports and stores them in a well arranged map. This way, it is possible to see how many locations with crucians (or gibels) have already been reported in each region.
You can download the app for Android and Apple.
