Please help us find common sunflower a striped sandpiper. Until recently, these fish were a common sight in Czech waters, but today they are gradually disappearing from many areas.
Their decline is primarily due to the loss of natural habitats such as pools, wetlands and oxbow lakes. Furthermore, the common sunfish is threatened by the invasive eastern minnow, which competes with it for food and also transmits a dangerous fish parasite.
